The Moldovan diaspora in Baku is represented by the Moldova Association, founded in 2014 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The organization aims to promote the traditional values, folklore, culture and heritage of Moldova abroad to unite the representatives of the diaspora, as well as to acquaint the local population with the secular wealth of the people of the Republic of Moldova.

Among the activities carried out are the celebration of most of the holidays in the calendar of the Republic of Moldova such as the Independence Day of Moldova, Martisor, Easter, more recently for the local community - the Celebration Day of the Diaspora, a series of crafting Master-Classes for mototing the national heritage abroad.
